Ability Scrolls are items used for enchanting equipment, or placed in spell slots to be used like spells. There are two types of Ability Scrolls, Passive, and Active. Passive Ability Scrolls are imbued into armor, pauldrons, gauntlets, and boots. Activated Ability Scrolls are imbued only into rings. Each article equipment can only have one ability scroll attached to it at once. If an activated ability is in a spell slot, the ability will activate not when cast, but when selected, and the previous selected spell will be re-selected. If a passive ability is in a spell slot, the passive ability will function as if imbued into a piece of equipment, even though it isn't equiped, freeing up space in that equipment for another passive ability scroll to be imbued. If the player equips multiple activated scrolls of the same effect, triggering one, triggers both/all, and the effects do not stack on each other, this is likely true of passive abilities as well (like Haste).

PassiveFrozenArmor
Frozen Armor - When an enemy strikes the wearer with a melee attack, the enemy freezes.
PassiveIncineratingArmor
Incinerating Armor - When an enemy strikes the wearer with a melee attack, the enemy gets engulfed in flames.
PassiveReflection
Reflection - Surrounds the wearer with a protective orb that reflects the next projectile that strikes it. Once it is struck, the orb disappears, and reappears after 30 seconds. *It is unclear if the reflection ability blocks spells as well as physical projectiles. It's also unclear if the reflection is in a random direction or back at the original attacker.
PassiveProjectile Shield
Projectile Shield - Surrounds the wearer with a protective orb that absorbs the next projectile that strikes it. Once it is struck, the orb disappears, and reappears after 30 seconds. *It is unclear if the absorption ability blocks spells as well as physical projectiles. It's also unclear if the absorption offers any benefit to the wearer, other than protection, like refilling a portion of mana, health, or stamina.
PassiveBurningAura
Burning Aura - Surrounds the wearer in a large ring, burning any person who steps inside. The affected people within the ring burst into flames, making it useful for detecting invisible corrupted.This ability DOES affect civilians as well as enemies, so it is a potential risk when trying to protect the people of a settlement or rescue a person from an enemy location.
PassiveChillingAura
Chilling Aura - Surrounds the wearer in a large ring, slowing any person who steps inside. The affected people within the ring emit a fog of frost, making it useful for detecting invisible corrupted. This ability's affect does not deal damage, only slows.
PassiveFrenzy
Frenzy - Increases the casting speed of the wearer.
PassiveFrostWake
Frost Wake - The wearer leaves behind a trail of frost to slow enemies who walk over the same surface.

PassiveHaste
Haste - Increases movement speed of the wearer.
PassiveFlight
Flight - Allows for flight, which is faster than normal movement speed. This scroll can only be extracted from the Mantle of the Ascended. Highly advantageous for combat and exploring map locations.
PassiveDefensiveBlink
Defensive Blink - Similar to projectile shield, this ability can only activate once every 30 seconds. When this ability activates, it teleports the player a few meters away from the incoming projectile. This teleport has no warning and can be quite jarring to the equipped caster.

Activated Ability Scrolls

Ability Scroll Ability Description
ActivatedAegis
Aegis - Covers a character orb that protects from projectiles, spells, and melee attacks. The affect of this ability lasts 3 seconds so it must be timed well.
ActivatedArc
Arc - A cone of pushing force to knock back opponents.
ActivatedBlink
Blink - Allows player to teleport 20 meters away. Can be used to reach high or distant places, or teleport toward the ground to break a fall.
ActivatedDash
Dash - Similar to Blink, only the player moves in the aimed direction, instead of teleporting. Sometimes Dash will become bugged, only sending the caster straight up into the air, this issue seems to go away when the player leaves the area, and returns to the campaign map.
ActivatedDecoy
Decoy - Create a target to distract enemy focus
ActivatedGravityWell
Gravity Well - Creates a point that sucks in all nearby enemies and objects. Can be used near ledges to pull enemies off, or simply keep enemies in place to retreat. Can be used especially well with groups of enemies to get them clustered and stuck in one position to be fired upon.
Picture needs to be added Haven - Creates a large bubble that blocks distant projectiles. Can be activated immediately after the effect dissipates. Cooldown 20 seconds.
ActivatedInvigorate
Invigorate - Triples the base amount of mana regeneration the caster while channeling this ability.
ActivatedPhalanx
Phalanx - The caster holds this ability to block projectiles, and the effect dissipates once let go. Requires less precise timing than other protection abilities.
ActivatedRockWall
Rock Wall - Causes a wall of boulders to shoot of from the ground, to be used as a defensive structure or to block enemy movement.
ActivatedShockwave
Shockwave - A small explosion that displaces or knocks down opponents.
ActivatedSlowTime
Slow Time - Slows down time by 25% for a time, exempting the caster from its affect.
ActivatedSpellblade
Spellblade - Creates a large sword in the caster's hands as the strike downward in a melee attack.
ActivatedStopProjectiles
Stop Projectiles - Creates a large bubble that blocks distant projectiles.
ActivatedTelekinesis
Telekinesis - Allows caster to pick up any object or person.
ActivatedVault
Vault - Allows player to jump a great distance. The player is sent upward in arching fashion, allowing high jumps or long jumps if done while running. The distance Vault has, is greater than Blink or Dash, making it quite useful. Vault can be used in midair, allowing double jumping. The cooldown for this ability takes longer than the duration of the jump, preventing persistent midair jumping. After using this ability, the player is cushioned from fall damage on their current jump, it does not prevent fall damage when not in use.
ActivatedWitchSlap
Witchslap - The caster performs a melee attack, back-handed slap, that can kill and knock back opponents.
